NIk is now owned by Google and sold there. You have to buy the entire collection to get Silver Efex but it's the best $150 you'll ever invest in plugin software. it works with mac and windows.

I whole heartedly agree with Minnie, even though I've only (so far) been using Color Efex and Silver Efex. Those two are awesome!
