I have been waiting for the Sigma 50 1.4 ART for several months. Every two weeks or so B&H will send me a form type update but so far, no ART here.

Sigmas "ART" lenses are a part of Sigmas new "Global Vision" line of lenses. Some are available now, some are still in "pre-order" status. Depending on the exact lens you want it may be readily available. Here is the listing of the ART series of lenses:

Yes and I bought the 18-35 f1.8 art for my d7000. With this focal range and it's close focus capabilities it truly is an art lens. I've been doing some portraits .landscape and flower pics with it . People are loving my stuff. It allows you to be creative and artistic with your camera. And the lens is fantastic in every way. I want the 50mm art next.

Egads, what is up with Sigma? I ordered the Sigma 18-35 f1.8 a month ago from Adorama, called them today, the salesperson said they expect the lens in by end of July.

People are finding out about the Art lenses, and they are selling. That's what's happening. I have 2 of them, the 18-35 and the 24-105 that I use on a full frame. Fantastic lenses. Well worth the wait!

Should be able to pick em up pretty fast. Got my 18-35 in a week from B&H. And they matched a lower price. Really like dealing with them everything is always packed very well too. I have the sigma 180mm macro OS also. I love it the, bokeh is fantastic .
