I do have one question I can not find in active forums , Is it better to fill out the registration cards for Camera , Lens, Flash. ect . ?

I always do. Then you get lots of interesting mail. Don't give your internet address though.
Sarge

Welcome to UHH. I always fill mine out also..
Without an email address, if there is a recall you wouldn't know. But recalls are rare.
A lot of companies aren't happy with the money they made on your purchase, they want to sell your info.
I wonder what would happen if you entered THEIR email address in that field???????
I always fill out mine and then register it online. Put the date that I registered it on the card as well. Don't generally complete the survey questions on the card or online.
I put my copy of the card in with the rest of the printed material that I got with the item.

Yes! It proves that you are the owner and entitled to rights.
I have created an email address at Yahoo which I use especially for "signing up" for things like that. They have a terrific spam filter. Click on the Spam button and you'll never see another message from that source again.

I register on line now and then. I think the camera is most important for firm ware updates and some software updates. I live in Ft Lauderdale. Where in South Florida are you?
I once attempted to get warranty service on an emergency battery supply unit. They refused as they said I had not submitted a registration card. Peg my Pardon, "I said," I registered via the internet as an option you gave. The reply was the same, you didn't submit a registration card. With this outfit one would have to send the card registered mail.

That is one of the better suggestions.
