I took quite a few KF pic in one hour today and others came around as well
Looking and waiting for Lunch
Spotted Din Din
Tern came by for a few fish
Gull popped in for a snack
GBH watched for a while and left
Night Heron oblivious to the KF behind him or was snubbing the KF

   Good job, Dan! Thanks for showing.
Super action shots and neat captures of the little bird with the big bird attitude!
Thanks! The big bids are not as finicky as these guys, you look at them anyway and they fly away.
I will be up in Wilton Maine area early August any local areas for bird shooting ?

What a collection! You hit the jackpot on that busy day.
Thanks I plan on going back and setup my blind, the last time I was there with the blind there were too many people jogging by and Kayaks in the creek ..

I don't think I've been to Wilton area, haven't been back to Maine in 4 years - and only just started getting interested in bird photography in the past 1.5 years - lol. Hope you have a great time, though!

Dan, this shows that when you find the right place, it is worth setting up and waiting for the birds to come to you. This must be a great place for the birds to find fish. Well done, especially the kingfisher which is sort of my nemesis bird. I have very few good shots of them. They never seem to tolerate people at all.
I enjoyed them all thanks, you would have no problems succeeding with the kingfisher that fishes on my track it stays for quite a time even when an excited group of Chinese are setting up and taking pics he/she just ignored them.
