Yes, I know folks like it when I send the images individually and un edited and with "Store Original" Checked, but like I say I have to pay for my bandwidth and I'd rather spend my money on new gear than supporting my ISP. Besides the point of this exercise is to show what the camera can do and in this case a couple of limitations. So I took photos in "normal" mode just to show scale of the arachnid next to my finger; Then 11X, 22X, 44X, and finally a stacked image set at 4X. I got a bit closer with that one so it appears bigger. First thing is that Image Quality falls off at 22 and 44X. Second thing is that the improvement in DOF via stacking is not infinite, but a definite improvement. Having said that I still like the fact I can get those magnifications even if they're done through utilizing a smaller portion of the already small detector. As always comments, criticisms, complements are always welcome and requested. :-)
