Early morning walk went a little a-fowl

On my morning walk I spotted this hawk - one of two that were flying through the park trying to find some prey for breakfast. Also spotted the attached pin feather lying serenely in the lake, punctuated by water droplets - thought it was an interesting scene.

I have yet to get a good hawk photo. Beautiful creatures.
