In Kentucky?! How far is that mall from a body of water? We have them here because of the Hudson River, and they do tend to accumulate in parking lots - especially near the McDonald's dumpster.

Thank you for posting. I like this photo and I'm not entirely sure why. You have the lines in the asphalt leading to the vanishing point, the back lighting through the gulls' wings, the shape of the clouds seeming to mimic the spread of the birds' wings, and the beautiful blue sky. You have turned a piece of everyday life in to a little piece of magic. Well done!

In N/W Indiana. Visit with family. Gulls have moved inland.

Did you know that the seagulls in Australia have a different call to the Atlantic Seagulls? You can always tell when an Australian TV ad has mixed in the sound of seagulls from an American or English Sound Effects library.
