Topaz, they have lots of different pp programs. If you wait you could get it with a big discount.

Checkout Topaz, here are a couple I have done, have not mastered it by any means but have found it works for some photos not for others.

That is true, Topaz is a PS plugin, found it easier to use, they have done a lot of the work for you with their different effects/filters.

Download trials for 30 days, or watch webinars (and You Tube). You must have a compatible host program to run these plug-ins:

Check some of UHH user Treepusher's topics. He's a master!

Thanks Mike, it has it's place I think, I believe these were all "oils" will send you a couple with Watercolor and one with what they call Buzz Sim which I like. I have only purchased the one package from Topaz, as someone said, wait for a sale, they put them on often. I also have a gallery on Pbase with a lot more at http://www.pbase.com/lbrandt79/oil_paint_filter_ps_6. Also, by the way, this software will suck a lot of time out of you, regards Larry

Linda, that is awesome. Do you find that it 'just works' with some photographs and not so with others.

Almost all software title do that, usually under filters.

I am sure that there are dedicated software that do only that too but I do not have this information. Use the web search?

Thanks! And absolutely some shots work better than others. However, there are many controls in order to tweak the initial pre-set. And you can combine effects :) If you use layers, that's a handy way to add control.
