These are very small about 4mm to 6mm long there is one of the pics with one sitting on my daughters hand you can sorta tell how small by the pores of her skin.

Excellent study! I particularly like your composition of image #10.
I concur with all the others and I love the clarity and colours.
These are all amazing shots, very sharp and detailed. My only experience with Robber Flies is they don't sit still long enough for me to capture the shot. Would love to know what your technique is for accomplishing this. Were you able to use stacking on any of these shots?
After looking at these hi-quality photos , I can understand why a lot of people get scared when some bug land's on them . They would jump even more if they could see this kind of details . Thanks for sharing .Tommy
