I've read some some "wacko" articles in the news, but this article may end up being the the "wacko article of the year"!
I also generally support the Police; (at least when they're trying to do something for the "greater good of society" ); in this case, the police have lost their way! I think Manassas, Va. needs a new Police Chief! And probably some more new cops.
Where The Law Doesnt Apply To The Enforcers, There Is Tyranny
July 10, 2014 by Bob Livingston
It would seem to be common sense that it is against the law to break the law. But when it comes to governments enforcers (police, prosecutors and judges), laws do not apply. They can and do break laws with impunity and enforce them or dont on a whim.
A case in point comes from Manassas City, Va., where police have taken photographs of a teens genitals in order to convict him of possession of and manufacturing child pornography. And police and Prince William County prosecutors are asking a judge for permission to force medicate the teen and take even more sexually explicit photos.
The 17-year-old boy is facing two felony charges that could leave him imprisoned until hes 21 and listed as a sex offender for life. According to news reports, the teens defense attorney said the teens 15-year-old girlfriend sent photos of herself to the teen, and he responded by sending a video back to her.
The teen was arrested and taken to a juvenile facility where police took photos of the boys genitals without his permission as if a child under the age of consent could grant such.
Prosecutors sought to coerce the youth into a guilty plea by telling him he had two choices: plead guilty or be subjected to forced medication so police could take pictures of his erect penis. After the teen declined to plead guilty, prosecutors sought and obtained a search warrant to take him down to the hospital, give him a shot and then take the pictures that we need.
Carlos Flores Laboy, who was appointed the teens guardian ad litem in the case, says he thought it should be illegal for police to create child pornography in order to investigate child pornography.
Theyre using a statute that was designed to protect children from being exploited in a sexual manner, Flores Laboy said, to take a picture of this young man in a sexually explicit manner. The irony is incredible. The guardian added, As a parent myself, I was floored. Its child abuse. Were wasting thousands of dollars and resources and man hours on a sexting case. Thats what were doing.
Detectives told the boys attorney that after obtaining photos of the teens erect penis, special software will be used to compare the photos with the video the teen is said to have sent.
The U.S. was founded on the premise that it was a Nation of laws. But when the law doesnt apply to government, the Nation becomes one of tyranny.
Comments;
I saw this article yesterday and didn't think that much about it; after reading the whole thing through, what no one seems to be thinking about here is; the boy is 17, the girl is 15; both are "underage"; IMO, BOTH are equally guilty of gross stupidity! (just as 10 million more teenagers are every day! ) no one "forced" ANYONE to "do" ANYTHING; but the mother of the 15 year girl wants this stupid kid's scalp for daring to "hose" her daughter! (Maybe the cops should take some pics of HER "genitalia" and "compare" them with some "data base"? Maybe they'll discover that SHE was a perv when SHE was 15? Maybe the F.B.I. should come in and photograph the Chief of Police's tallywhacker and "compare" it to some data base? Might solve some other "crime"?
If that 17 yr old boy is a "sexual predator", so is that 15 yr old girl.
Any way this thing turns out, the cops in Manassas, VA. SUCK! (The whole country is LAUGHING AT YOU, Manassas P.D.! )
Maybe some smart TV producer will start a new "reality show"......"Top Ten Stupid Police Forces Nationwide"?
As John Stossel would say, "give me a break"! This whole article is about stupidity!
If You're Gonna Photograph Mine, You Better Photograph "Her's" Too!
In Wash, DC, the Police Dept. has the "90 Day Rule." If an officer breaks the law and are not brought to trial within 90 days, they cannot be punished at work, i.e., fired. many who have dealt drugs, been involved with murder, strong arming, etc., have had their terminations overturned because they weren't disciplined with the "90 Day Rule."
