Shield Bug?, Tiny Moth and dead Lacewing.
I disturbed this Shield Bug when watering the plum tree this morning. I had to use the onboard flash for this.
The other two I found outside late last night on the mosquito net.
Nikon D7000, Nikon 105mm. macro at f16, 1/200, ISO 200.
Your shield bug is excellent. I want for you to measure the screen mesh. How many square lengths in a centimeter = built-in scale.

Hi Douglass, there are 7 squares per cm. length - ie 49 in each square cm.
I had cropped the photo slightly.
Your moth is a bit longer than 4-squares, so about 5-mm long.
i like the lacewing,nice shot

Thanks, shame it was dead and dried and stuck to the mesh.
