"Yet religious freedom is one of the most basic of human rights, and one in peril in much of the world. Some heroic Muslims, like my friend Rashid in Pakistan, have sacrificed their lives to protect religious freedom. Let’s follow their lead and speak up as well, for silence would be a perversion of politeness."

...but SURELY!, YOU, James Shaw can't POSSIBLY mean
that CHRISTIANS should continue to,according you, have religious freedom...you can't sincerely mean that...after all your God-Hating posts in the past...what's up with you?
You and Satan split?...maybe a little lovers quarrel? Don't sweat it...Satan will always take you back. Keep pitching Satan there, Jimmy. You'll get your well-deserved promotion one day.

I hate no one, a-God or other supernatural or natural entity. Hate is the scourge of mankind. Just maybe your comments are based on misinterpretations of what I say, because what I say does not always agree with you way of thinking, and you are single-minded and one-sided in your thinking?

And just how can I hate or love your "Satan" when I do not believe in a ghost-serpent that flits from person-to-person doing evil? Just how can I hate your fictitious creation that I don't believe exists? Just doesn't make sense. So, how can I be "promoted," as you say, by your mind-created-entity that does not exist? Crazy man, just crazy.

Your usual ploy, try to cover your weakness by changing the subject. The subject was/is "religious freedom", NOT the existence of any Supreme Beings.
Sheesh!

(P.S., What you say quite often doesn't remotely agree with what you have just recently said.)

You fell for the troll's ploy Batman.
If he doesn't want to believe then he doesn't have to believe. What I don't understand is why he can't leave the believers alone.I don't think that my belief is infringing on his rights. But, he just wants to argue.

Really? Speak up for religious freedom? It is not just Islam who is trying to take away religious freedom in the world, it is the progressive movement as well, just look at rise of secularism in Europe, and then the hate that progressives in this country shower on Christianity....

Yes, any country that persecutes its citizens simply because of their religious beliefs should not receive one dime in foreign aid from the US.... But I don't think that will ever come to pass because our government does not give a damn about the sensibilities of the people of this once great nation.

One can believe anything they want. It's when it is practiced on other people that it becomes offensive.

Is that a slight at the SCOTUS decision?

I believe in religious freedom, probably more than you believe in religious freedom.

My post was in support of religious freedom, if you read it, and I am firm and strong in my belief. Religious freedom is the right to practice one's belief without threat or reprimand from others. Religious freedom and belief in supernatural or supreme beings (or not), is what religious freedom is all about.

I think that you, and some others, believe religious freedom is fine, as long as all believe as you believe? And that is frightening to me, and becomes more of a reason for us all to believe and support religious freedom.

You have a big problem with misinterpretation of what another states when they make a statement that may be contrary to your belief, and I mean a big problem.

You haven't a clue as to what I believe. I state again that I do not believe in ghosts.

You're absolutely right: I haven't a clue as to what you truly believe, only what you have said you believe...which changes radically from time to time...depending on just who it is that you're trying to punish with your "shocking"
atheistic "beliefs" that you state so often that one could easily conclude that " methinks he protesteth too much."
