Reminds me my father told me that one guy in his home town was called "Wiggler" because he always took meat that had wigglers ... meat usually saved for dogs. Wiggler was the one eating it... very poor guy who washed the meat down with white lightening. Remember in rural Arkansas they did not have refrigeration in the early 20's.

In reality, insects are eaten in many places. Soy has pseudo estrogen which affect female characteristics. Perhaps before trying this larva meal one should watch Jeff Goldblum in "The Fly."
