Can't believe these are models...
Recently, I went to a Radio Controlled Jet Rally... And, I must say, I was impressed by the size, build quality, detail, etc.. But, even more impressive was the fact that these were JETS, with real jet engines, not ducted fans. Real jets! Amazing sound and performance...
Needless to say, these folks spend more on their model aircraft than we spend on cameras & lenses! And, I didn't think that was possible...
A10 Warthog
Amazing detail
The pointy end of an A10 Warthog
F4 taxiing back after another successful mission.
Really great repros!! I'd love to see them in flight. Got any video?

No, unfortunately, no video... But, they were fast and loud. What an amazingly expensive hobby. I heard prices for the jet engines alone start at about $3500.

There are a handful of hobbies which are much more expensive than photography. Boating comes to mind.
Here is a model of a MIG 29... Note the scale compared to the guy walking it. Just amazing to me...

LOL! Yes, the definition of boat is: a hole in the water into which you throw money!

Thanks... I've not posted much here, thinking my photos were not up to par. But, I've decided that maybe they aren't so bad afterall. Thanks for the comment, it encourages me to share more.

2 happiest days of a boat owners life are the day you buy it and the day you sell it .

Post more. Your photos are really great.
Great shots! However, I can't let my hubby see them.... we can't afford it!
Absolutely amazing. I've seen these fly a few years ago and would love to again. Thanks for the memories and for sharing.
