Here is one that many people do not know about or remember and one of my favorite examples of "pandering" to a numerous and powerful voting block with pure BS.
End income tax for seniors making less than $50,000
"Will eliminate all income taxation of seniors making less than $50,000 per year. This will eliminate taxes for 7 million seniors -- saving them an average of $1,400 a year-- and will also mean that 27 million seniors will not need to file an income tax return at all."

Former New Orleans Mayor sentenced to 10 years in prison for corruption.
Corruption is pervasive in the Democrat Party.
In recent news, a Democrat congressman was given a stiff prison sentence for corruption. He was found to have $90,000 in graft in his freezer. Cold, hard cash, I believe it was called.
Oh and income tax evasion as well. How do you claim graft?
Democrat Timothy Geithner is Secretary of the Treasury. He didn't pay HIS income taxes until it was uncovered by the media. Then he ponied up the money.
Democrats invariably try to *justify* their corruption, their lies, and their incompetence by claiming "they're all alike."
If that is true, then all those Democrats need to do is convert to the Republican Party, if, as they say, "they're all alike."
Show me one, just ONE Republican mayor who has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for corruption.
The Detroit mayor is also doing hard time, by the way. For corruption. Quelle surprise.
