Very cute gal and hat. Maybe just a little kicker fill-flash would have brought out her eyes and features that are being shaded by the brim.

I love the softness to the photo, it gives it almost the illusion this photo was taken in a different time with a film camera.

I used an old Spiritone 100m "Portogon" that has one f stop - f/4 and one lens element so it gives a "soft" look. I like it. - Dave

Portogon!?? that's a blast from the past alright... also, is it, "Sp-eye-reh-tone" or "Spirit one"?
Regardless, nice portrait- though I agree a little catch-light and/or fill under the hat helpful.
