Although there have been lots of discussions about sensor sizes, I don't recall seeing anyone use the term equivalence.

Well, I posted the same article form different viewpoint (grainy photos with my aps-c).

Steve is right, Education! Technicals don't make a photo but, can surely ruin that perfect scene.

Now, if I can only determine degree of graining from the histogram, I can tie it all together [lol]

Sounds like you're trying to develop the Grand Unified Theory of Photograpy?

;)

I just skim read that, where did the Tylenol go?

It was interesting. I think I'll keep it simple and stick with my full frame 6D. That is about as much equivalence as you can get.

The circle of confusion is a bunch of photographers sitting around hashing out various definitions and variations of terminology used to describe how to take a picture. The moderator for this discussion, or therapist, is a blind man holding in hand a very sharp sword which from time to time he brandishes not so much to affirm or refute the statements and declarations, but just to hear it go swish, swish and feel the air disturbed around him.

I thought a circle of confusion was a bunch of academics/intellectuals discussing how to run the world like the elites they so self evidently are. And so ignorant about the real world that they don't even know what they don't know. Or even realize that there is anything they don't know.

Thanks Jerry. Should this be required reading for the UHH Forum? Sure would solve some arguments. But then again.... Some of the spouts, sure are fun.
