Against my better judgement I hit the bayou today. My concerns were realized when I arrived. Heavy ponding along one of my favorite stretches complete with a water moccasin skimming the top of the water. For the most part it was a lost cause until I stumbled across a little wasp clinging to a flower. It was obvious it got hammered by the storm last night. Not sure if it was asleep or just needed some sun to warm it up. I started photographing it and as the mid-morning sun crested, it started perking up and moving about the flowers drawing nectar. I sat there watching it recover for close to an hour. It finally tired of the photography nonsense, hopped on my diffuser for a few minutes and then flew away. A very enjoyable macro morning.
These shots are outstanding as usual  And it sounds like you had a great time.
Thank you Bill, and yes I had a good time. Always do when I'm out shooting macro. More storms last night so I think I'll mess around with the stacking rig today.

Thanks Tom, I value your opinion. I rely on yall's feedback when deciding on photos for the print competition. These may very well be entered in July's contest.

Thank you Douglass, seems like #4 is in the running for a print.

Thanks Bob, I always carry my phone with me for general photos. When I find good spots I photo document them and GPS tag for future reference.
I didn't vote before but, I will now.
#4 is very good but, I think I like #2 as much, if not slightly better.

Thanks Bill - I didn't mean to openly solicit votes but I do value each of your opinions so I'm glad it came across that way ;-). I too like #2. I have a few shots I want to run preliminary prints on before I decide which to work up and enter. This will be one of them.

Your welcome. I know you didn't directly ask for votes. I just figured it had at least "some" value to you. Even if just an opinion to help you decide on
something...anything
beautiful, magic focus thank you
Extremely well done. Thanks.
