The feds want to put the grouse in protection for 165 million acres
in 11 states, in 2015. How many jobs would be lost.

Will the feds be dancing with this one?

How could it affect the senators of those states for election?

    ;-)

What do I know?

Have the Feds gotten to the point where all humans will have to move out of those states?

Or is this just a ruse to let children from points south to start a new republic?

Hard to figure these days.

The Pygmy Owl is listed as a endangered species. There are not many in the U S.
There are a lot in Mexico and Central America.

I've an idea.
Read about it first, then criticize it after you know what it is.

I've read both and am not sure how exactly they counter each other.

Regardless, this line stands out;"Any Congressional effort to extend the current timeline would subvert the established science-based administrative process the Fish and Wildlife Service uses for determining whether a species warrants protection under the Endangered Species Act. "

The whole stir over "global warming" is causing a lot of people who didn't before to question the science behind Federal science-based processes. This case may be suspect also.
