Got outside this evening & found a katydid nymph, and took a few flower macros. Also tried out Kenko extension tubes.

These are hard to draw a bead on. Eyes are splotches of color and it's difficult to discern when it's in proper focus. You did well considering you are just starting out. It looks like the critter is doing push ups in the second and third photos.
