Some others apparently took it to have a hidden meaning or that it was dwelling on historic times. None of that is true. I simply copied it from a post someone sent to me. I did not check every single line to verify truth or not. I only thought that on the Holiday of our Independence it seemed appropriate. I still do.
If looking back in remembrance of what made us great is dwelling on it then so be it. For me to remember our forefathers once a year is not dwelling on anything. Also to bring up our good does not mean we necessarily have to bring up our bad each and every single time. Yes America is not perfect but it sure in hell is better than any other country on this planet. I don't see people flocking to any other country like they do America. Must be a reason they come here.
