When I first tried digital over film, I eased in with the relatively inexpensive Sony. It had a Leica lens and I was more than pleased with the results obtained.

Here are three shots of an English Rose by Austin named GRACE.

All are at ISO 80, Spot metering and the camera was mounted on an inexpensive tripod.

Breathtaking and scrumptious, Bob!

I cringed when an older neighbor mentioned the store clerk said he "should" buy a 20 mega-pixel camera. He doesn't plan to print larger than 4x6's!

Breathtaking job Bob, love how you did these. Great camera too in it's day. Came out in Feb 2006. My wife is using its replacement the H9 which came out the following year. Amazingly it is still going strong.

These took my breath away. I don't think they could be any better. I love them all for different reasons, but love the water droplets on the third. I can see these framed as a group.

I appreciate your comments! I read that Ansel Adams used a Kodak Brownie for many of his photos. We all get carried away (me included) with pixel envy!

Your comments are much appreciated! One of my daughters is still using (and loving) the old Sony!
