Bridge over the Amazon.
Great shots, scary bridge. Really like the shot where the rivers meet. Good work. Ed

looking.

Going there with cruise on holland America , cruise up the river, any advice on taking camera equipment and shooting condition, going in late November

Hi Irvingite: Thanks for thumbs up, it was a enjoyable trip.
Hi Fkaufman3: I have a habit of carrying all my equipment with, I have three
lenses which give me close ups and out to 600mm. I used my smaller lenses
most of the time, up to 300mm. We also sailed on Holland America lines,
ms Prinsendam, it is hot and humid,we also sailed in November into December. I also carry extra battereis and chips. The weather is muggy.
We had an excellent time, we use Holland America lines whenever its
possible. Have a nice trip and hope to see some of your photos when you
return. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
These are all really good, Bob, but I love where the two rivers meet!
Hi sailorsmon: Thanks for comments. Its hard to imagine, but when you
see it its really something.
Hi creativsimon: Thanks for the comments.
I really liked the shot of the rivers converging. I assume this was taken at Manaus where the Amazon and the Rio Negro come together. Back when I was still working, I flew a lot of trips to Rio out of Newark and it was amazing how well you could see those two colors from 37,000 feet and how long they stayed separated. Well done and thanks for posting.
Hi Shaun: We were in that section of the river when I took those pictures.
It was a nice trip. Thanks for the comments.
