I've probably been there a dozen times at least, over the years. I was in the vicinity and of course, had to stop. I was glad to learn that they are going to begin construction on a 4th addition to the museum, which will be open in 2015.
If I read the number correctly on the B-52, I actually flew that very one more than once. The ground crew assigned to this bird kept it in top shape.
It's been 40+ years since I was at the Museum. I understand it has changed a lot (no surprise.) No B-52 time, but I do have 1.5 hrs over Laos in an F-100F like the one to the left.

I was born and raised in Dayton. I remember when the Museum was built. Your photos bring back good memories.

by far the best aviation museum in the world! it and the pro football hall of fame in canton are the only nice things one can say about ohio!!
