Hi everyone,
Been lurking for awhile and learning so much. Thought I better say hi and Thank you all for being such a caring and sharing group! Finally I am learning there is life after children (raised 4,- 2 girls, 2 boys) have 4 grandchildren (which I adore!) Youngest son graduated 3 1/2 years ago and joined the Army 10 days after, soon to be deployed to Afganistan. (Thank you all who have served!).
Almost 3 years ago I took the plunge and bought Nikon D90, what an overwhelming experience! and then 9 months ago I decided to stop using auto and learn to use manual. Frustration is becoming an obsession....If I didn't have to work....
Feel free to give tips and suggestions....
Last spring was the most color I have ever seen in my back yard
Mr. Blue Jay
more spring color!
Welcome to the UHH. Nice shots.... I especially likethe second one. The detail of the bird is very good.
Hi....welcome to the Hog......nice shots
The first and third could be a little better focused on the birds. The first has such beautiful color and composition. The second has such awesome clarity, super DOF and wonderful composition and color. The third has great color and background. I wonder if it would be better with the feeder not quite so centered but I am not sure if it would. Overall, these are nicely done!

Hi!! Welcome!! I love #1, beautiful color. The perfect bird for the task. Looks as if you failed to set out the required number of lemon halves, lol. My tip: please continue to post!
:D
Don't see how you could move the feeder without losing a bird. Wish I could find birds like these. Good shots.
Welcome! Your photos are wonderful - # 1 & 2 especially!
