Here are three glaciers that we saw while on our glacier cruise a couple of weeks ago. Sorry, I didn't write down the names of the glaciers. Hope you like them.
These are gorgeous! These may become a rarity in the near future. I visited Glacier National Park in Montana, and they're down to a precious few.

I love your images. Which Cruise destination is this?
Beautiful Lauren--got me wishing had been sitting next to you!
Beautiful landscapes. I like that you captured that typical blue tint that seems to be prevalent in these scenes. Nicely done.

Looks a lot like Glacier Bay in the inner passage in Alaska.

I know, so many of the worlds glaciers are melting. We visited Peru in 2009, and the ones in the mountains at over 14,000 ft are melting at an alarming rate.
Actually, though, there is some good news, a couple of these are actually growing.

We were on a day cruise with Phillips 26 Glacier Tour, out of Whittier. Our local camera store (Stewarts, in Anchorage) provided a day cruise with the Canon Representative, and a bunch of lenses, for some of their customers.

Me too Katherine, we would have had fun! I'm anxious to see what we find in Iceland. :D

Thank you, the blue really came out in the prints. I even tried to warm it up some, but couldn't get away from the fact that there was just so much blue everywhere.

No, not Glacier Bay, this was somewhere in Prince William Sound, on a day cruise out of Whittier, Alaska.

Thanks Cassy, Alaska is a beautiful place. Way too much to see in a visit. That's why we decided to move here for a year, and to be honest, a year isn't enough time either.... :D
