A short little 21 photo stack of this little black female jumper. I haven't had one sit still long enough for me in awhile. She gave me just enough time to get my shots off before she started running around as per normal.. My flash was a little on the hot side, but could not get another chance. Really enjoy the eyes on this jumper

She's a beauty.
Only jumper I've seen this spring-summer was on my back deck and quickly disappeared between the planks.
Happy shooting.

Did you notice how I've modified my speedlight/softbox as seen in the jumpers eyes? I cut out a thin cardboard sheet and laid over the existing softbox to soften the corners. You can see this in the jumpers eyes, no more sharp edges.

So you rounded the corners of an otherwise rectangular softbox?

Fantastic idea, now the flash looks like a natural light reflection in the eyes of the spider.

If your talking about the round black circle below the flash, that would be the end of the lens about 6 inches from his face.

left is original box, middle rounds corners, righthand rounds corners without dropping off light.

Looks really good Martin. Illumination is soft and clean.
