I am very lucky to have both my sons home on leave at the same time, so we decided to take a father son weekend to the beautiful blueridge mountains. I rented a cabin we spent the weekend hiking and taking in the beautiful scenery. It was a cloudy wet weekend but the sun was shining for me. We went on a 6 mile hike to some waterfalls and here are some of the shots I took. The van is a 1950 restored by the owner of the campground where our cabin was. This is also his bussiness on the side. On the field shot I used my flw filter to enhance the shot it was cloudy not much of a sunrise. I understand why Bryan Peterson says this is one of his favorites. On the first shot I used a flashlight to light up the scene and my tokina 11 to 16 2.8 for most of the shots.
