If Satan were to write his own beatitudes, one of them might go something like this:
Blessed are those who depend on getting Divine guidance from that 'small, still voice'.
I do 'small, still voices' real good. (And they never know what hit 'em.) Hee, hee, hee.

(1 Ki 19:11-13 KJV)
11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire
a still small voice.
13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?
When God does speak, there is a sense of peace.

If he's hearing voices in his head, he should probably get to the nearest Emergency Room before he hurts himself or someone else.

Ah, Bang...... Surely you do not mean to quote the Old Testament, eh? Because if you believe in that book, you have to believe all sorts of evil, backward stuff (stoning disobedient children, etc.).
So.... want a do-over? Maybe something more recent?
