Took a hike with the National Park Service at Cape Lookout the other day to watch and photograph some of the 107 wild horses that live on Shackleford Banks in the park. It started out as a miserable rainy day, but ended sunny and hot.
I love these. Especially the one with mom and foal.

These slipped past my notice when you posted--great set, ME--I especially love the horse drinking at the watering hole and the fiddler crabs. Great shots! :thumbup:

I got lucky with the crabs - never noticed the patterns and colors on them before - but the light was just right this time.
