NYC Teachers' Union FAILURE, Carl Icahn - SUCCESS

The Union Boss of New York City's United Federation of Teachers shot his mouth off some years ago. He said the reason NYC public schools perform so abysmally was that they were hamstrung by the bureaucracy. Just let these wonderful teachers do their own thing, and by golly, you'll see!

And it was so. Following are snips from a long Excel spreadsheet I obtained from New York City's own website.

Teacher's union, 5th percentile, as I stated elsewhere, trying to educate some liberals. (An impossibility, I know.)

Carl Icahn, a prominent and wealthy businessman, who has spent millions on the poor and downtrodden as liberals almost never do, has 4 charter schools in the 88th through 100th percentile. Facts are to liberals what Kryptonite is to Superman.

Uft charter school - 5th percentile, on probation

Icahn Charter Schools 1-4, 88 - 100th percentiles

Teachers' unions lie and claim they always need more money, and that only more money to them is the answer.

These facts prove their lies.

Children should not suffer from incompetent liberals, as they have suffered for decades.

Democrats are unrepentant whores for unions, teachers' unions in particular.

You are wrong with the last statement. They just ignore facts. Superman can't ignore kryptonite.

Crickets chirping as liberals retreat to their bedrooms in the face of facts they cannot lie away, as they do with most everything.

What starts as a discussion initiation, immediately deteriorates into primitive offensive name calling. It is elementary schoolyard verbal bullying. Nothing intelligent or enlightening comes from attempting to engage with these individuals. It is the sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I don't think anyone that serves the public should be allowed to strike. No teachers, no police, no officals in any public jobs. No transportation workers. They should have to sign a waver that will never go out and make the public suffer so they can get more what ever they want. There should be closed door meeting to decide that the out come will be. They don't get out till its settled. Why should the public have to suffer it's bad enough we have to pay them for their jobs.

Clanmack and Hal81, well said, both of you.

Leftists have skittered away, speechless.

What a beautiful thing THAT is.

Learn from this and do more of it so that there will be more peace and reason throughout this website.
