I have just bought 3 graduated filters for my Nikon D5100, one is blue, one is grey and one is orange, my question, which one to use for what, I like landscapes, so I guess the blue one is for sunny days, but what would I use the grey and orange ones for.
Any help please.

Great for winter gloomy skys, Orange for soft evening glow shots, or better still just mix them up and play around with them,
Have fun?

For me, I would just take a note pad and note each filter and the type of environment I took the picture in. Muck about and take a ton of pictures. You may find one that doesn't fit the mold that you like.

Did you have a reason for buying them?
Use them for the reason you bought them for?

I use filters like these in B&W only. If you shoot in Raw you can do the same thing in PP

I hope you bought high quality glass filters as opposed to el cheap resin or plastic ones. They cost less than glass but are vulnerable to scratches. I'm speaking from decades of personal experiences. I've owned a number of both kind of filters. One word of caution : I don't know if you're a beginner or not; but one of the most common mistakes beginners make is that they get carried away with filters maybe because they think using a lot of filters makes them better photographers or improve image quality. It doesn't. Use filters quite sparingly. Otherwise your pictures will look gaudy.
