People have told me my pictures are crap!

So are there any scat detectives? Looking to figure out who is visiting. I have heard everything from a raccoon to a coyote? Not sure what I would like it to be, except not so close to my open windows!! There was a slight fight that included "screaming" from a rabbit I believe. Whatever knocked down my bird feeder and licked it clean. So hard to entice that shy cardinal when this happens.

You don't give much in the way of clues but my first guess after seeing the photo is a black bear. Check to see if there are any nuts, seeds or hair in the dropping. It is not a rabbit which leaves little black pellets. Coyote scat would be elongated/cylindrical. A bear could and would knock down your feeder. You don't give a size comparison but looking at your steps I am thinking 6 inch planks. If it is a bear it might be time to close your window.

I hope it is not a bear! If it were, I would expect other things disturbed. It is not the dog/coyote family. This is a pile. Some have said raccoon. I should have filled the feeder again. But I have a deer camera I am in the process of setting up and "it" will reveal itself with more food. However, I will close the windows. Little nervous as I am babysitting the two fur grands this weekend for two weeks. They tend to want to check out every scent they find!

Raccoon is my guess. Poops on the deck, cleans out the bird feeders, gets into fights with other critters and makes a weird scream/growl... that is what the raccoons do here.
