Nice close-up series, Jim. The small creatures in nature can be just as beautiful as the large ones. You captured it well.

That is the thing I do not like about Topaz Clean. It always makes the fine feathers or grass or leaves look like those little tube worms that you see in aquariums. It makes the photo look unreal and it is very easy to have a halo with this program. I wish it would not do this because it seems like a nice program. I have it and I do not like it for the reasons that I just stated. But that could just be me.

Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

I see I am going to have to play around with the Topaz plug-in's. I have downloaded them but there just aren't enough hours in the day right now. Come on retirement! Only 1719 days to go!

To be honest Jim......
To me they look artificial with the Topaz filter....
Just give em a little bit of sharpening ( perhaps in NIK ) and they would look great and natural......:-)
As PP work , they look absolutely great, it's just what you want......

Hey! If you like it, that is all that really matters. It is just not my cup of tea. I definitely do not want to force any of my opinions on anyone. I just simply share mine every once in awhile. Enough people seem to like this effect, otherwise Topaz would have surely changed it by now.
