Joined the forum last month and am thoroughly enjoying it. Recently moved back to Florida after 17+ years in Hawaii. Have just started with HDR and have been taking photos since I was a teenager, shortly after flash powder and glass plates. ;) Enjoy taking pictures of scenery, flowers, and have recently started taking photos of birds.

Welcome to the forum. Which software do you use for HDR processing? (been debating giving it a try myself)

At present I'm using Photomatix. Works well, although I'm very much at the bottom of the learning curve. Just using presets. One thing I've noticed is that if I want to reduce the "HDR" effect, I use three images that are less than 1 EV apart each, and that tends to soften the "HDR" effect. That's what I used on my Diamondhead Lighthouse photo.

Welcome from Ft Lauderdale. Love my visits to Hawaii. I just started with Photomatix, but found that mine gives me several choices. I prefer my pictures to be close to real life. The grunge is fun only.
