The Canada Goose goslings here have just about doubled in size in less than two weeks. The parents return each Summer to have their family. All cruise up the lake every morning and feed on our lawn.
This little tyke was a little ball of golden fluff about 10 days ago. Now, the color has noticeably changed to grey.

That is for sure. Ten days ago they could barely waddle thru' the grass, but now, they easily do it.
Thank you John.

A lot of people consider the adults a nuisance but we do not. They are very smart and terrific parents. People who visit us are fascinated by them. And of course, the goslings are adorable.
Thank you Jim

Wow, I'm on adorability overload with this one, lol. He's just too cute. What a beautiful shot, Pierre! A nice mix of colors, and the slight vignetting works perfectly to emphasize the gosling, as well as complementing his new grey tones.

Superb!

I've mentioned it before, but I live year-round at a cottage on a fresh water lake. It's idyllic and convenient for someone in photography -- tons of tranquility, scenery and wildlife, enough room to have a studio set-up, and so on. So, watching and photographing (documenting) anything around us, is wonderful.
Thanks for the response Linda

They are adorable and as you know, I have a great respect for the adults who are great family managers and proudly bring these little guys to us every day. It's as if they know they will be photographed.
I very much appreciate your constant friendship, good humour and skill. Thank you.
