These were taken before the drought. I'm sad to say Yosemite is my backyard. And like many who live next to such magnificent parks, they are not as often visited by locals as you may think.

Fantastic photos of a fantastic national treasure. I was there about 30 years ago and I can only hope to get there again!

Some nice shots, the first from tunnel view is very good and a real "classic" shot.
I was there two weeks ago and the first two days it rained off and on, with snow above 6,000 feet and the Tioga Pass was closed. The falls, sadly to say, don't have a lot of water in them and will dry up very early this year.

The drought has really put a damper on the falls this year.

Very pretty! That is sad to have such beauty and not to have visitor's who live there!

Trust me, after taking Yosemite photos for several years, many locals, not all, have seen it all. There are only so many times you can shot the same thing.
I think this is true with most National Park locals. I have friends near the Grand Canyon and they say the same thing.
