Problem with E-Bay Searches

Has anyone had a problem with saved searches? Since the password issue on or about 20 May, emails of new listings have ceased. I changed my password as requested and even retyped my searches, but still no email notifications. I have 20 saved searches and ALWAYS get daily emails on most of them. And yes, I did select the "receive email" option.

It's been frustrating trying to contact e-Bay. Navigating around their "contact" window shows bunches of problem selections that one must select, but none to cover this issue.

What browser are you using? I teach eBay classes and have experienced no problem.

However, I will point out that eBay is primarily optimized for the internet Explorer browser. Safari also seems high on their list of optimization for browsing.

I have experienced problems in odd places using Firefox and/or Google Chrome, but that's been over a long period of time and the problems are usually miinimal.

I do suspect that with the advent of the password change, eBay is going to fix any issues with Internet Explorer first and then tend to problems with Firefox and Google Chrome.

Google Chrome to me is like marrying a pretty woman who can't cook. Oh Yeah, she looks good, but someone somewhere has had it with her "BS".

Thanks for the reply. I am using Firefox, but have been for several years with no issues.

I use Firefox as my primary browser, but there are a few rather obscure functions in eBay that don't work well in Firefox... very obscure.

I would merely suggest that you try to do the same thing you are trying to do in Firefox, but use Internet Explorer, just to check.

You should not have to change any of your preferences in eBay to get any of the browsers to work well, but that's in a "perfect" world.... :-Dl

Besides that, what time of the day is it?.... Oops. Midafternoon... time for another new version of Firefox, eh wot?????

Mine is working fine with Chrome after changing my password.
