Finally got the wide angle I have been trying to get.
My new old FF dslr is still in transit so I went out in the back yard with my D3100 and the 19mm Vivitar manual lens and a pano bracket, and took 3 shots across the fence with the camera turned vertical. Manual settings were f11, 1/100 sec., 100 iso, infintity focus.
Used Photoshop to merge the three overlapping shots into a pano and spent about a half hour straightening the photo to remove the curved perspective.
This the the type of eyeful image I have been trying to capture for a while now.
