I may have at the first but I closed every thing and came back later and tried ,what gives with this system . I have sent pictures all over to sell stuff in want adds . buy sell mag , books etc . and never had the problems I get when I'm
trying to down load here . you wouldent believe the hassel just to get a picture into the contest . it doesent go following there instructions .I would have to write a book explaining what I have to do , and then it's hit and miss
. I been playing around with computers when ten Meg was all you ever needed . this Mac is my fifth computer . I ran the control room at lafarge
cement plant . with six computers and 16 monitors . from running the two kilns , four cement mills . and overhead crane .so it's not like I'm a novice , and people think I don't have any pic . but there two chicken to send me there e male , what ever that's all about I'm 72 years old for god sake 73 in a couple months . I have four emale address . if one gets out of hand I shut it down and open a new one . no problem .

My computer is screwy too. Took three times for me to get one photo posted. I turned my computer off. When I restarted it, went directly to this forum and posted. It took a while to load (to the point I was going to give up) but Bingo, it did it. So try shutting your computer off/on before you try again. Waiting anxiously for your post

Bram Boy have you tried reducing the size of your photos, maybe your broadband cant handle them if they are too big .

no that's all Greek to me : I can't even get jpegs to go in at there lowest scale

When you go to a photo, either right click and check properties OR go to your basic edit program and check properties. They usually give you an option to resize. (I have the photo program that came with an older computer that I reloaded on my current dinosaur) It is a very basic program, but it does give you that option. You can download a photo resizer program, but most computers will give you this basic program. OR...Who is your carrier and can you sign up for a free G-Mail account?

well I'm in no hurry after all it's been since sep 2012 that I been trying , I just wait untel I get a new Mac . but the one I got just won't quit , I know I need a ram up grade it has gotten slower in the last 7 years
