Here are a few pictures of the rehearsal that we did Fri night on the beach. Please take 2 things into consideration. (They where going fast due to pending storms, as you can see by the sky very rushed) These are test shots for my fellow Hedgehog to tell me what you think. The wedding will be full Sunshine, and pretty hot, have been watching weather.
Please let me know what you all think or what I should do.

Increase your exposure compensation and go from there. If it's sunny leave it at zero.
You better get acquainted with shooting in full sun, as these are not going to help you prepare for that.
For the conditions you have here, the on camera flash is giving good fill but flat, it will serve you better off-camera for more shadow and depth of images.
Not knowing what your gear is, the suggestions will range. i.e. high speed sync with a couple of speedlights to keep skies from blowing out.
Have at least a reflector, keep the sun from casting shadows on the faces by positioning yourself opposite the sun with the subjects inbetween (check where the sun will be in relation to the actual ceremony and reception, then plan accordingly). Practise your composition so you don't cut off limbs awkwardly. Don't forget portrait views for full length shots, and for heavens sake, be aware of your backgrounds.

And get some sunscreen for those people, ouch!😎
You need to practice in the same weather condition as you are expecting on the wedding day. Sun and light is one of the most important factors on how your pics will turn out. So if the wedding will be on a sunny day, you need to practice on a sunny day.
My suggestion is: Do not cut their feet off, especially at the ankle.
Most of the shots should have been vertical. And with the feet as be mentioned. When you do the ceremoney flip to vertical when shooting just bride and groom and minister. - Dave
Here are a few Vertical, I think everyone was just having fun, and trying to figure out who to walk with and where to walk.

Will be interesting to read what WeddingGuy says. Hopefully he will respond before the wedding time.

I usually do not comment on photos. You know, "Like who am I to say something.". I am wondering if you are exposing for the background sky and using your flash to fill in the people. For the most part I like how you lit up the people but I feel the sky in the back is either washed or drab. Look on Google, there are alot of videos on doing this. The HSS is an approach when there is sun in the back.
Good luck, Where did you say this was happening? A beach is a beach, but wondering if it is down here. I will be ROOTING for you.
I would get lower, so your camera is at about belly button height.

down at fort desto. I think I was more focused on the people then the background, shockingly the sky is what it really did look like last night, very drab and nasty. We got out just as the sky opened up and let the rain come.

I'm really hoping so also. I sent him a like so he know's what to look at.

You might try zooming in and opening up the lens so you get some bokeh on the background which is not adding to the shots.

Yes, at the current angle the flash is casting some shadows on the sand.
