how do I tell if an older speed light will work with the Nikon CLS system. I have an SB 28 and an SB26 one will flash off camera but not the other. I am not sure if it just does not work like that or it is broken.

Both should work well on AUTO, but will not TTL on the CLS system. I use a pair of SB 28's as slave flashes with my D7000
