Hello D800 guys. I'm new here. I'm using a Nikon D7000 and am considering adding a D800. The D7000 has a bracketing limit of of 3 exposures spaced at a maximum of 2 Stops. I'd like to know what range a D800 has. Please help. WB

You can have up to 9 frames, in increments up to 1 stop.
Of course, every camera can bracket infinitely as long as you do it manually.
Glad you're here. There is almost nothing photography related that you can't get a good answer on here and an opinion or two or three.....
Read the manual, shoot raw and expose for highlight.
A D800 is several step above any camera you have ever used.

One thing you will notice coming from a D7000 is the greatly expanded dynamic range. The situations were you will need to do HDR to get the whole range in will be minimized. However, there are those situations where using HDR will be the best option. The answer is if shooting HDR sequence in camera, 9 stops and 1 stop increments. If you are using a CamRanger or other tethered solution that will manage the automation of HDR shooting, then you have more possibilities.
Reading the manual and exposing to the right, well, that goes without saying, but it is no substitute for a great HDR image. But I am sure you are already aware of that. :)
