Beautifully executed! Great looking "kids" to boot....all of them!

Agnes here are a few of my rejects, however they may give you some ideas.

Great shots Pat...I like the shadow idea. Looks like some fun activities too! :-)

I am not comfortable with flash even though I keep trying. I prefer natural light, candids. These were taken this week.
Well done! In the last 2 you have good lighting with no shadows or reflections in glasses.

Taking pictures of people is probably the last thing I like to do...not sure why, other than the fact that I hate getting my picture taken! LOL! But I committed myself to some weddings. I didn't have any flashes at the time and really need to work on using reflectors as I know they can make or break a photo. What really saves me is PS Elements!

Wonderful challenge Agnes. Here are two that I did back in the 60's when I was just beginning to learn,(still learning by the way) followed by some that are more recent.

Very well done Clicker. If you don't have reflectors us white, silver, or gold poster board. They are a quick solution and can be purchased at most art supply stores.

Morning Pat. Ain't that the truth. All we can do is try and try again and sometimes get a good one.
Some others. A senior celebration a week ago and my job to do a group and pix of each with family.
The group: that's what was wanted
Loosen Up!
Photo bombed and, yeah, cut off the hands and camera, but happened so fast I was lucky to even catch this.
Inside, I turned around and there was this beautiful teen perched and watching the skits

And that perched teen is a great sometimes. Wonderful example of a candid portrait.
I'm not so much into formal portraits. I loved the first bridal photo in the collection from Clicker pg.2
Here are a few from the Honors High School event last week..
