We are currently feeding this stray cat until he can be grabbed by a local person who can put him in a facility so he can be/will be adopted. So far he shies away of people, but comes daily around 6 PM to eat.

just make sure there is plenty of water and premium chow available at a specific time and you can condition him to human touch in a couple weeks.
Don't hide behind the blinds, let him know you are responsible for the good chow.
he has a beautiful coat and cleaned up should look quite presentable.
Don't lie to yourself though; he may never become a domesticated pet.

I am not the one feeding him --we have only one person doing that -so he is used to only one person that brings the food. Someone in the neighborhood that works with pets volunteered to take him to the adoption place. We are just healing him until she does. We don't have nor want pets since we are old for that. They may outlive us!
BTW, he is clean because it has rained for two days otherwise he would be greasy and unkept.
Not as clean looking here. Same day, approaching

Great shots, even from hiding.
But I'm sorry to say; Once a feral always a feral.

I like the shots with the window blinds. He looks like he would make a nice pet. Pretty colors.

Hope he will find a good home soon. He is starting to trust the one who feeds him daily, after a week, though not quite there yet.
Today the guy scared a snake away of our patio. Isn't that good karma?

I think he used to be in a good home and for some reason he was thrown into the street. Seems like he was well cared for before. So... Maybe he just needs to remember?
He looks like a cat that would like to cuddle up and be comfortable. He seems so relaxed, well done for helping him.
Great looking animal. Bless you for caring for it.
