The Anise plant was growing outside my garage I cut some of the tops off and used most of it as background set in a purple vase. I placed the buds in another container about 18" in front. This was set on a card table with the windows in the back to get the translucence of the flower. All Shot with Tamron 90mm macro at 1:1, tripod, rail, natural light. Zerene Stacker and LR5 used for post.

This plant dropped so fast that on the two stacks with the most frames there was a very noticeable change of positions from the first exposure to the last one. Zerene did an excellent job of putting them together.

talked to a florist about the wilting problem. they had two fixes,
1) cut the plant/flower under water and keep the stem in water to prevent an air bubble blocking moisture take up.
2) they have a powder which if added to the water makes it wetter so the plant maintains pressure longer. a teaspoon full will treat dozens of flowers.
