upload pictures into picassa

I recently got a Nikon 800. I am unable to upload my pictures to my computer. I am using windows 7 and Picassa. The computer/Picassa will recognize the D800 but will not upload the pictures. I can take the disk from the camera and use a card reader to upload. No problem. I also tried the D800 on another computer using XP and Picassa it uploaded the pictures from the D800 no problem
I also have a D5200 and have no problems at all.
Any suggestions.

You may need an updated Codec http://photographylife.com/free-nikon-raw-nef-codec-for-64-bit-vista-or-windows-7
