I am having just too much fun with Picasa. My dogwood blooms are on their way out, so I'm trying to memorialize them (LOL) and my andromeda is really on its way out but I tried to save the picture. Any and all comments are welcomed.

The first one looks like a painting. I really like it!

The composition of #1 is so very pleasing! Your Picasa treatments are yummy, rich frosting on the cake :)

Thank you Linda. That means a lot, coming from you. I added the museum mat to this one. This is really fun!

You are preaching to the choir! When I decide to stay home from taking photographs, I end up editing all day (in between visits to UHH, of course). It's so addictive :)

Love those dogwood flowers, so very pretty. The Andromeda is beautiful as well. The framing is lovely. You matched the second one to go with the yellow background of UHH!

Your talent really shines through on your flower photography, Margo. Very well done. I can learn a lot from your example.

Thank you John. But I all the thanks to Heirloom Tomato and Linda from Maine. HT gave me the inspiration and her enthusiasm got me going on it. I was going to wait until I got to Florida and got my new computer before I dove into this, but haven hurt my back/hip and put my packing on hold, I dove into the Hedgehog to keep my sanity. I wish I had better photos of my andromeda, but I hurt too much to go out and shoot it. I just keep remembering what HT told me: 'Just fill the frame'.

I'm sorry to hear about your back, Margo. I hope you're feeling better soon. I think HT touched all of us in some way. We lost a good friend. Linda is at the top of many photo buddy lists including mine.

I think I'm smiling because you're having so much fun! Its so fulfilling to find something you enjoy and can do when you are forced inside and sedentary (so sorry to hear about your back--never a good thing). love what you've done with your dogwood blossoms.
