Yes, I know--selective coloring has been done to death, it's overused, cliched, yesterday's news.

But not by me. Never tried one before.

This is Martian, caught in mid-plot.

I don't know who decides something is outdated,overused..etc..I think quite often its people who can't do it well..but I still like selective coloring when its done well,and this is done VERY well!! And it still sells by the way!! :thumbup: :thumbup:

I'm with rlaugh on this Randy. This is is a really abstract approach in this case,
particularly because it's of Martian and it depicts him in the way we know of his exploits. I really like this.

Everything's wrong!

Composed with subject dead center, highlights blown, posterization evident in fur throughout, using selective coloring.

I LOVE IT!
