Yes, I bought a copy about a week ago.

I'm only into the second chapter (The Shooting Menu), but I like it. It reads well without being tedious, and Young explains things thoroughly and offers his own tips. He has references to the D7100 manual for those who wish to get the technical skinny, but for all intents and purposes, this is the reference book I plan to keep at hand.

Happy to help out. After all, isn't that what this site is all about? :)

Yes, and I would recommend it. I also have his book for the D300. I like the format he uses, the reasons he chooses his "default" settings and the cross references with the manual.

Hi-
Bought it myself a few weeks ago. Going thru it with camera at hand. It's well written. clear and easy to understand He references the manual and gives you his recommendation on settings. If you go to Nikon's website they've got a neat video on the 7100 that will go thru many of the features and benefits. Not as comprehensive as the book, but a great first look at this terrific camera.

I just finished this. Highlights:

- Easy to understand.
- More complex issues are touched on twice in the book from different angles
- Doesn't just tell you about all the settings but also gives his recommendation for best setting and explains why.

A solid guide that I believe I will be referring to regularly in the future.
